How Mary Kay started?

How I started in Mary Kay?

So here's my story, it all started while I was with my other side hustle as a financial advisor. While we are on our promotion at the mall, I had a little chit chat with my co-advisor way back in November 2019. She talked about her life and all, then mentioned about doing her Mary Kay business as a beauty consultant. I was very interested in our conversation since one of the reason I went to pharmacy school is because of cosmetics. 

Before the day ended, she handed me the Sign up form and her products without even paying any peso. She even said, if I can sell products worth 13k and up, I will get the Start Up Kit for FREE (as far as I can remember, that costs P1500).

When I returned to work, I brought the products there and asked everyone to buy. Some ordered by looking at the brochure, some on the products on hand. To make the story short, I sold the 13k worth of products. I got the Start Up Kit for FREE and got my 45% commission. I then asked my husband what if I make this a business too. He answered, "if your enjoying it, then give it a try."

Months came after trying, I met women that loved this product too, women who did try, women who went to business and those who gave up early but still want to use the product. I also attended our unit meetings and personal trainings by our sales director. We are all excited about the challenges MK is giving since our unit was an achiever of a travel via cruise ship. We are encouraged is new recruits to do so. I was very willing too.

Then pandemic happened. But it didn't stop us. I went to red jacket trainings online and achieved the challenges MK gave:
