Hot Air Balloon Themed Party for less than P35k

Hello to all momshies out there who plans to celebrate their party that is on budget! We hope this blog can help you.

Since I had my own family, I'm always in charge of the planning and makes sure that its affordable. So now I'm going to share it to you how I did it.

So we planned to celebrate all our occasions for a day so we can spend less. As we all know, inflations at peak and there are other things more important than this. So our celebration includes:

-Lara's 1st Birthday 🎈

-Lara's Dedication πŸ’¦

-Laz' Licensure Examination for Teachers🎊

-Christmas 😁

- and New Year 😜

To start, I made a list of things needed for the party. You can also make note of these so you will be guided:

1. Venue

We scouted for the venues available near our house and we came up booking here at Yvonne's Nest since we realized that we want a venue that is exclusive. We want Lara's baptism to be solemn.

So far, this venue was the most affordable in terms of inclusions. The total guests allowed was 50 pax but I availed their offer that if I added another 2k, the allowed guests to enter the premises is unlimited but the food is still good for 50 pax.

The venue was great. It has its own pool and videoke until 10pm. We also spent our night there. They have 3 rooms available for our extended families so they can travel the next day. The owners too were so accommodating and kind.

Their pool was toddler friendly, it has levels. The first level was for the baby and parents, so the parents can just sit and watch their babies/toddlers swim. The second level was for the kids like Lariz, so she can stand and the third level was for the youth and parents. It's just 4 ft so its safe for everyone.

Their rooms were air conditioned and have flat screen tvs. The 2 rooms have comfort rooms inside. They also have wifi.

2. Theme/Decorations

The owner did this for me. Isn't it cute and simply rustic? I have no time to do this really.

They even printed a tarpaulin which I forgot that's why we printed another tarp and I'm about to tell it below.

3. Birthday Cake

So we got here a 2-layer cake. Cute right? I searched for an inspiration in the internet and the baker got it. So amazing! Lara didn't blew the cake since she still can't do it.

4. Tarpaulins

This layout was done by Carl Balita Review Center- Palawan (CBRC) we just paid them but the Nanno Print did the printing.

I did this layout in a rush since I only have 1 day off before the party and the printing takes a day before you can get it. I even forgot that the term I shoud use here us "dedication" as advised by our pastor.

5. Giveaways

We bought our souvenirs at Unitop then add the theme on it. (I mentioned the prices at the end of this blog.)

We made this souvenir from this..

6. Food

When it comes to the food, its ⭐⭐⭐⭐. According to my father, the food tastes delicious. They served us 8 kinds of food that they have recommended like the pork salpicao steak which their bestseller, shrimp, baked fish in lemon and butter sauce, spicy buffalo, honey garlic, orange or korean Bonchon fried chicken, chicken fingers with garlic mayo dressing, baked tahong in cream cheese sauce, pansit bihon and sicilian chicken salad. They have other premium, fish, chicken and side dishes to choose from which I think were also tasty but so far our choice were all good.

After the party, they allowed us to take out all our foods. They even let us use their fridge. Then the next morning, they heated it all and served again.

We even asked them if they can cook another set of rice just in case the food ran out.

If you're a coffee lover, they also have unli coffee available 24/7. Drinking water is also included.

Since the corkage is waived, we brought here the star of the program and the earliest bird, I mean pig.

Thanks to all those who gave the effort for this lechon, from those who handled it since it was born to the one who delivered it to the venue. For orders, you can message them for inquiries and order here.

7. Program

Our celebration won't be complete without the blessing of our pastor. If you want to book an appointment, you can also message him here.

Our program went smooth and simple through his help.

8. Dress

Lara's dress and headdress were sponsored by her godparents.

Babies don't like dresses that are not comfortable, as we know most of the dedication dresses feels hot when wore. It's because of the type of cloth used but you can choose to buy from malls, they have that kind of dress that is cotton. I think that costs P300-P400 though we still chose to not buy, anyway it's for the program and pictures only.  After that, they don't use it anymore unless you want to rent it out. Another source of income.

9. Invitation

You can do your own invitation card using Canva app for free then send it to your selected guests privately. You just simply download the app then sign up your google account. Though some graphics, photos, icons and illustrations have premium but we can get it together for free when join on our team. Decided now? Click here.

We just printed some using photo paper for our special guests but this may lessen your expenses. After all, everything is digital nowadays.

10. Candles and Money Envelopes
